Stage
Comics have also long since conquered the stage. The Internationale Comic Salon 2026 will include around 40 individual events: These include readings with projections, live drawing events, a comic battle, comic concerts, a cosplay competition, and much more besides. In collaboration with the International Comic Salon, the Schauspiel Erlangen will present the world premiere of Tobias Aeschbacher's graphic novel "Der Letzte Löscht Das Licht" as a live radio play on 4, 6 and 7 June at Theater in der Garage. Most of the Salon's stage events are free with a Salon ticket, with exceptions marked. Central locations for the stage programme include the DATEV Stage in the Schlossgarden, the KUBIC, the Kulturzentrum E-Werk, the Theater in der Garage and the Markgrafentheater.
