A graphic novel like a gangster film! Or like a Shakespearean tragedy co-written by Tarantino. In collaboration with the International Comic Salon Erlangen, schauspiel erlangen presents Tobias Aeschbacher’s graphic novel as a fast-paced live listening play full of verbal sparring, shoot-outs and declarations of love. Three petty criminals break into a run-down block of flats. They’re looking for a bag – and find a cat, a gangster couple, a cannabis plantation, a kind-hearted voyeur, a sentimental hitman, all manner of weapons, power cuts and death. Director Eike Hannemann transforms the graphic novel – honoured with the Max und Moritz Award in 2024 as “Best German-language Comic Debut” – into a thrilling audio spectacle. To be watched, of course.
