Exhibitions

The distinctive feature of the Erlangen International Comic Salon are the numerous exhibitions throughout the city centre: Joann Sfar's extensive work can be viewed in the Stadtmuseum and the oldest comic in the world – "Die Katzenjammer Kids" – im Kunstmuseum. The depiction of water in comics and the French illustrator Jeremy Perrodeau can be experienced at the Kunstpalais. Comics from the Ukraine, drawings as a protest against oppression and as a statement against anti-Semitism, hatred and racism - the complexity of political and social problems is featured in various projects. The Comicmuseum e. V. presents German-language manga art in its showroom and other venues along Schiffstraße.
