Always there, but difficult to discover: Over the last 20 years, a lively indie scene has developed in the medium of manga in Germany, which has also seen success beyond the country’s borders. The exhibition presents a selection of artists who are currently active in the scene, and demonstrates the development and quality of the German independent scene using selected pages from manga and copies of books to browse through.
