Comic diary – between autobiography and sketchbook

Autobiographical comics have been around for over fifty years: artists depict – more or less truthfully – events from their everyday lives. Sketchbooks accompany the lives of all artists – but what is a comic diary? A private comic strip? A horror comic of a special kind? In recent years, there have been increasing attempts to work in this previously almost non-existent format – time to talk about it!
