Comic Score – From Image to Sound

Comic scores combine drawing and music into an open form. In various works, visual scores emerge that are translated into sound by musicians. The lecture demonstrates how images trigger musical processes, what freedoms and challenges arise from this, and how a distinct form of musical theatre develops between comic, interpretation and performance.
