CORRECTIV is bringing the political cartoon back into the spotlight! Political cartoons were long an integral part of newsrooms. Today, this particular form of political commentary has faded into the background in many media landscapes – yet it was (and is) an indispensable tool for shaping public opinion: sharp, humorous, pointed, accessible. With the CORRECTIV Cartoon Arena, CORRECTIV is establishing a new, curated format for political cartoons in the digital space. The aim is to restore the visibility of political caricature as an independent journalistic and artistic form of commentary.
