No topic has been discussed as controversially in recent years as artificial intelligence. Is it an opportunity or a threat to the comic scene? Will it replace artists or help them? Are boundaries being crossed, or is this simply technological progress?
These questions and more will be discussed on the panel: Steff Murschetz – a comic artist active for decades who created the first German AI comic. Ingo Römling – a sci-fi comic writer with a critical perspective who seeks to distinguish between generative AI and analytical AI. And Julia Schneider – also known as Doc J. Snyder, who explored artificial intelligence as early as 2019 with “We Need to Talk, AI”.
