When the young Prince Ashitaka is cursed by a wild boar possessed by demons, he leaves his village in search of a cure. On his journey, he encounters San – Princess Mononoke – a girl raised by wolves who supports the forest animals in their fight against human attacks. In this Studio Ghibli classic, director Hayao Miyazaki uses powerful imagery to explore themes of environmental destruction and the coexistence of nature and humanity – to be seen again in cinemas in 2026 in a restored 4K version.
