Lisa Frühbeis, born in 1987, studied in Paris, Urbino, and Augsburg. In her work, she explores power and privilege from a feminist perspective. Her first book, the feminist comic strip collection "Busengewunder" (Carlsen Verlag), was awarded the Max und Moritz Prize for Best German Comic Strip. She has also received the Bavarian Art Promotion Prize for Literature and a 3x3 Illustration Merit Award.
