A prison. A solitary cell. An old man, condemned to spend the rest of his life behind bars, is dying and can do nothing but dwell on his thoughts. “What a pitiful life.” Suddenly, he hears the voice of a ‘Housenka’ flower. He recalls his past – his happy life with a woman named Nana and her son, the garden with the ‘Housenka’ flower, but also his time as a criminal. “The Last Blossom” celebrated its world premiere at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in 2025.
