This short film programme brings together the six films that won awards at the 23rd International Festival of Animated Film in Baden, Switzerland, in 2025. Whether artistically daring or unconventionally told, whether created using the latest techniques or through classic animation craftsmanship – the world of animated film is full of visual and narrative surprises.
The award winners are:
- “Qui part à la chasse” (CH 2024) by Lea Favre (Best Film, International and Swiss Competition)
- “Ich bin nicht sicher” (CH 2025) by Luisa Zürcher (High Risk Swiss Competition)
- “Winter in March” (EE/AM/FR/BE 2025) by Natalia Mirzoyan (Audience Award, International Competition)
- “Karies” (CH 2025) by Aline Höchli (Fantastic Swiss)
- “Long Live Livia” (US 2025) by Zach Dorn (High Risk International Competition)
- “Double or Nothing” (CH 2025) by Tokay (Audience Award Swiss Competition/Special Mention Youth Jury)
New in 2026: Free admission to all films at the Lamm-Lichtspiele and the E-Werk Kino with a Salon-Ticket – upon presentation of the Salon-Ticket (season ticket/day ticket), one free cinema ticket per film is available from the relevant box office during opening hours on the day of the respective screening. If films are sold out, there is no guarantee of a seat. The Salon-Ticket and cinema ticket must be shown on entry. The right to a seat expires once the advertised start time has passed.
