Artist talk: Lewis Trondheim

Lewis Trondheim is one of the most outstanding, prolific and significant figures on the European comics scene. As co-founder of the independent publishing house L’Association, he made a decisive contribution to the development of the comic. In his well over 150 comics, he has tried his hand at virtually everything – from fantasy epics to autobiographical works and minimalist experiments – in order to ward off the dangers he fears most: boredom and routine.
