The core of the Erlangen International Comic Salon is the Comic Fair, located right in the heart of the city. Around 200 exhibitors – publishers, agencies, comic dealers, comic and illustration classes from universities as well as art collectives, solo artists, minor exhibitors and others that deal with comics on a professional level – present their programmes. German avant-garde, international graphic novels, Franco-Belgian bandes dessinées, American superheroes and Japanese manga - thousands of comic books are for sale, numerous new publications are presented to the public for the first time. Artists from all over the world will draw live and sign their books.
