Money is tight – so even a visit to a restaurant becomes a special occasion. All the more frustrating when an arrogant waiter consistently ignores the guests. But mother and daughter refuse to be intimidated: without further ado, they order a pizza to be delivered straight to the restaurant. The evening is saved – much to the dismay of the bewildered waiter.

Whether it’s an inline skating accident or a self-assured war of words in the battle of the sexes – these comic short stories recount the minor and major challenges of modern everyday life. With wit, ingenuity and a good dose of anarchy, mother and daughter tackle every situation in their very own way. Like their classic role models, Father and Son by Erich Ohser (alias e.o.plauen), they too solve their problems with heart and creativity. Katharina Greve paints a loving, incisive picture of a duo who master everyday life in a charming way. The comic is nominated for the 2026 Max und Moritz Award.
