*Born in Thun in 1992, he is a freelance comic artist, butcher and musician. He is a co-founder of the organic butcher’s shop La Boulotte. In 2023, he received the comic grant from the German-speaking Swiss cities for “Fleischeslust” (Edition Moderne) and was nominated for the Berthold Leibinger Foundation’s Comic Book Prize in 2025. In 2026, he is nominated for the Max und Moritz Award at the Erlangen Comic Salon with “Fleischeslust”. Martin Oesch lives and works in Bern.
