Edition Moderne — avant-garde since 1981! Edition Moderne is the oldest independent comic publisher in the German-speaking world and the only one in German-speaking Switzerland. It publishes classics such as "Persepolis" by Marjane Satrapi, "Palestine" by Joe Sacco and "Burma" by Jacques Tardi and Léo Malet. At the same time, Edition Moderne publishes works by up-and-coming young authors from across the German-speaking world and beyond, representing the avant-garde of today – and the classics of tomorrow.
