Bela Sobottke (born 1975) studied communication design at the Design Akademie Berlin and graduated in June 2000 with a diploma as the best of his year. In addition to his four-year qualification as a graphic designer, he completed a lifelong training as a comic artist, which he began as a young boy by drawing Lucky Luke. Immediately after graduating, he set up his own business, 2WERK Grafik. In 2008, Bela joined the Gringo family, where he has since published a variety of hearty genre comics. His best-known character is the sometimes rhyming, sometimes silent gunslinger Rocco, protagonist of various volumes such as "The Legend of Kronos Rocco". In addition to Gringo Comics, Bela publishes in "U-Comix" and "Cozmic", among others, draws commissioned comics and writes articles about comics for the capital city newspaper "Der Tagesspiegel". The album "Terror 3000" has just been released by Gringo.
