Lisa Rock was born in Berlin, where she lives and works today. After finishing school, she first moved to Paris and then to Dublin, where she studied Fine Art at the National College of Art and Design, graduating with a comic book project. After graduating, she returned to Berlin and worked in various roles at the animation studio Hahn Film.

Since 2003, Lisa Rock has been working as a freelance illustrator and animator in the editorial sector for various newspapers, magazines and publishers. Most recently, she published a graphic novel in the comic anthology “Bin Mensch nicht auch ich?” about victims of National Socialism in Siegen.
