ProfDrLachfinger's drawings are primarily focused on the positive and colourful depiction of LGBTQIA+ characters. In addition, Heavy Metal plays a big role in her drawings as well, but its hard cliché is broken by subversive and gentle motifs. This combination of subjects is most evident in her LGBT comic "Metalheart Meltdown" – a homosexual love story between two male Heavy Metal musicians.
