PLOP-Fanzine

PLOP is an independent comic zine that has been published for over 40 years as a platform for up-and-coming artists. Several artists who later became professional comic artists, such as Stefan Dinter, Kim Schmidt, and Walter Moers, had their first works published here. A distinctive feature is the presence of established and semi-professional artists alongside the work of beginners. PLOP features comics and graphics, reviews, articles, and interviews. It stands out for its diversity of styles and stories – and its eventful history since 1981 as Germany’s longest-running comic zine.
