Österreichische Gesellschaft für Comics

OeGeC is a nonprofit association run by and for comic artists, scholars, event organizers, educators, and fans. Its goal is to raise awareness of, promote, and foster connections within the fields of comic research, education, and production in Austria. Since 2019, we have been regularly organizing comic book presentations, discussions, and readings; speaking with a wide variety of stakeholders (from booksellers to curators); awarding bi-annual comic-prizes developing various services (ranging from consulting to financial support) for our members.
