Anna Backhausen is a comic artist from Kassel who has been active in the indie comic and manga scene for over ten years. Fantasy worlds, everyday life and nostalgia are the themes she likes to draw comics about the most. She has a preference for analogue drawings; watercolour, ink and pencil are her favourite media. At the Comic Salon, she will be presenting her coming-of-age comics Heimlich, still und leise and Auf und Ab, as well as various art books, zines, postcards, posters and stickers featuring her characters. She will be accompanied by her house kobold Mo, of course.
