Anna Backhausen

Anna Backhausen is a comic artist and illustrator from Kassel and has been active in the indie comic and manga scene for over ten years. Fearful cats, fantastic worlds, the everyday life and nostalgia are motifs that she loves to draw comics about. She has a preference for analogue drawings; watercolor, ink and pencil are her favorite media. At the Comic Salon she has her coming-of-age comic “Up and Down”, her new ink art book “Wanda's Worlds”, as well as various zines and postcards, posters and stickers of her characters with her.
