Carsten Kauke
Raul C.O. Kauke (born 1970) is a versatile, multimedia artist who has been producing and publishing comics, novels, music, and short films since his youth. Since the early 1990s, he has been a member of the KiX artists' collective, with whom he still collaborates closely. His publications include the 138 short films of his “Video Theatre” series (2012-2019) and various recordings by his bands Thrillkids, Fishkicks, and Kaktuxxe. However, Kauke primarily works as a comic artist. Besides the KiX Minis and his contributions to the comic magazine KiX, his most well-known series include “Raul's Little Witch” (1992-1996), the “Rappelrübe Family” (since 2002), and, of course, “Willy the Kid” (since 1996), which has already sold over 1000 copies. His latest album is “Lachen und Müll” (Laughter and Trash).
