ZANO

Christian Zanotelli, also known as “Zano,” works as a school assistant, illustrator, and comic artist. Following the publication of his two comics, *Jean-Paul Porneaux and the Lion’s Appetite* and *Jean-Paul Porneaux and the Blood-Red Vinyl*, by Gringo Comics, he released two short comics in *U-Comix* issues 183 and 198.

Zano then presented the project “twentyeightDAYS,” created in collaboration with musician Christian Verspay, in Amsterdam and Cologne. This was followed by “Hänsel’s Journey,” a short comic he created with author Michael Mikolajczak, which was published in “Kult Geschichten Volume 1 – Tick Tock.”

In 2025, “In einer Welt umzingelt von Feinden” was published, a personal comic about experiences with new neighbors. In 2026, he followed up with “In einer Welt umzingelt von Feinden 2,” another story from the neighborhood horror universe.
