Beate Weirich
Beate Weirich was born in 1960 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and lives in the Donnersberg district with her husband, comic artist Fern Weirich, three dogs, and four cats. When she isn’t writing books, she works as a music teacher at a school specializing in social-emotional learning. From 2010 to 2013, she and her husband published the social fantasy series “Siegelwelt-Chroniken” (now out of print except for a few remaining copies). A current collaborative project is the dystopian short comic series “Patria Nova,” which appears in the Pfälzer-Comic-Salon-Journal. The author is currently working on the fourth and final volume of a lighthearted novel series about an early-retired vocational school teacher and her family. Just like the “Grey Mouse” series, the “Manne Novels” are feel-good stories with substance for women over 40 who have heart, brains, and a sense of humor.
