Hi! I’m Maike, an illustrator, designer and comic artist from Münster. In 2025, I completed my master’s degree in design at Münster University of Applied Sciences. I’ve always had a knack for spotting the most absurd details in the little moments of everyday life. They make for great stories! Preferably visual ones!

In my work, I highlight the contradiction between tragic themes and comical moments, creating an unusual atmosphere that is both amusing and profound. This allows me to use illustration to explain even complex topics in a simple way. Whether it’s a comic strip, animation or editorial illustration – I love using illustrations to understand everything around me and to share that understanding with others.
