Max und Moritz Gala

Who is the best German comic artist? Which is the best comic of the year? Who will win the Audience Award? The announcement of the 2026 Max und Moritz Award winners are eagerly awaited! After the gala, the celebrations will continue in the theatre courtyard: Liquid refreshments will be provided and Delfinium Prints, together with the Cultural Office, will be hosting a toast.

25 titles were nominated by the jury, seven of the eight award winners will be announced at the Max und Moritz Gala. The Lifetime Achievement Award has already been announced: Posy Simmonds, the grande dame of the British comics scene and one of the most modern and sophisticated contemporary comic authors, will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
