Sarah Mado was born in Hamburg in 1975 and still lives there today. It was only in 2018 that she rediscovered painting and drawing, the passions of her childhood. As well as creating small book illustrations, two of her comic strips appear monthly in regional newspapers. Her comics use clean lines to focus on everyday situations and the humour often associated with them.
