The publisher's aim is to produce first-class children's and young adult books, thought-provoking non-fiction, innovative cookbooks, and sophisticated graphic novels. The graphic novels are often translations, but also feature original works and adaptations. The publishing programme takes a clear political stance in favour of enlightened positions — e.g. "Emma and Amir" by Bianca Schaalburg, "Jerusalem" by Jonathan Lemire, "Capital & Ideology", based on Thomas Piketty's bestseller, as well as the newly released full-colour edition of "Economix".
