Interessenverband Comic e. V. ICOM

The International Association of Comic, Cartoon, Illustration and Animated Film (ICOM) is co-founder of the Erlangen International Comic Salon. Its most important publications include the Guide to Fees, Contracts, and Copyright "ICOM-Ratgeber" (2019, 200 pages) and the "COMIC!-Jahrbuch" (the 26th edition will be published for the 2026 Comic Salon). This year, it will again award the ICOM Independent Comic Prize in Erlangen. Since 2024, the association has also operated toonsUp.com, the online platform for comics, cartoons, and illustration, which was founded in 2007.
