Leo Flemisch (*1995) studied North American Studies in Bonn, Cologne, and Paris. His M.A. thesis about the documentary comics of Joe Sacco won the "Ambassador's Award 2023" of the United States Embassy in Berlin. After his studies, he worked as a project coordinator at documenta fifteen for the projects “lumbung of Publishers” and “lumbung Press”. From the end of 2022 to 2025, he was the press agent for the comic publisher Rotopol and has since worked for the publisher as a freelance writer and moderator. Since the beginning of 2026, he has been working as press agent for the Creative Europe Desk CULTURE in Bonn. He draws comics in his free time and is founder of the comics anthology “Comic Capsule”.
