Tobi Dahmen, born in Frankfurt/Main in 1971, grew up in Wesel on the Rhine and studied visual communication in Düsseldorf. He graduated with the illustrated book "Poetry And All That Jazz" based on a text by Jack Kerouac. Since then he has worked as a comic artist and illustrator for the press, advertising and on the web. Among other things, he founded the combi comic "Herrensahne". Tobi Dahmen has already received several awards for his work, including the ICOM Award for Best Short Comic and the Red Dot Design Award. His comic story "Fahrradmod", first published as a webcomic, was published in book form by Carlsen in 2015. Currently, the Utrecht resident last published his drawn family story "Columbusstraße".
