Arinda Crăciun

Arinda Crăciun lives in Berlin, where she works as an illustrator and comic artist. She creates for publishers and magazines such as the New York Review of Books, mare, Süddeutsche Zeitung, taz and the Heinrich Böll Foundation. In addition, she also runs workshops in libraries and schools. Her work has received several awards, amongst others she was a finalist for the renown comic book award of the Berthold Leibinger Foundation in 2026 and was nominated for the German Youth Literature Award in 2022. Her latest work “Ortswechsel Bukarest”, an illustrated city diary, was published by Rieder Verlag.
