Comicwerk was established in 2001 to act as an online comic platform for young turks and old hands. In its magazine "LOA" and its more than 50 issues Comicwerk presented self-owned and produced works of renowned German and international comic artists. Since then, several issues and books have been published in print under the Comicwerk banner, including the ongoing series "Alina Fox" and "Biien".
