Julia Beutling is a colourful, Berlin-based illustrator and comic book artist with a love of all animals. From time to time she ventures into the realm of fairy tales and myths and returns with a host of mermaids, unicorns and talking creatures. For Comic Salon, she brings cards, posters and stickers, and she presents her webcomic "Being Monsters": It's at the same time a fairy tale for adults, a drama and a detective story, with (at least) one real monster at its mysterious centre and lots of atmospheric landscapes.
