A picture is worth a thousand words and is the central medium of communication in the BA Illustration programme. Here, you learn to tell stories through drawing and convey messages via images. You develop an understanding of the interplay between image and text and learn methods and techniques for research, conception and visual realisation. Building on the fundamentals of storytelling, you develop your own work across various areas of illustration – from graphic novels to animation.
