AID Berlin – Academy for Illustration, Design and Communication – has been training illustrators for almost 25 years.The focus lies on illustration in its many forms: from comics and graphic novels to children’s books, editorial and book illustration, as well as moving images in 2D and 3D. Drawing, storytelling and the development of an individual artistic voice are central to the programme. At the Erlangen Comic Salon they present works by their students and offer a glimpse of the next generation of comic artists – and visitors are welcome to pick up a pen and draw themselves at our stand.
