Lena Winkel

Lena Winkel is an illustrator and comic artist. In addition to numerous children’s books and picture books (including “Rico und die Tuchlaterne”, with Andreas Steinhöfel, Carlsen), she has written “Tiere richtig zeichnen” (Transcript/Jaja), a treatise on animals in children’s books and comics, for which she was awarded the 2024 Roland Faelske Prize. Kibitz published her picture book comic “Lass das Lesen, Leo!”, written by Andreas Greve.
