Peter van Dongen, born 1966 in Amsterdam, is a comic artist and illustrator. In 1990 Casterman published the comic novel "Muizentheater" and in 1998 the first volume of "Rampokan" was published (German version by avant). For GANT International he created the graphic novel "Three Days in Rio" (2013). With the graphic novel "Familieziek" (2017), van Dongen adapted the novel of the same name by Adriaan van Dis. Van Dongen has also been providing illustrative work for clients such as NRC Handelsblad, museums such as Gemeentemuseum Den Haag, Scheepvaartmuseum Amsterdam and Centraalmuseum Utrecht for many years. Since 2018, he has been drawing for "Blake und Mortimer". He has so far penned the two-volume adventure "Das Tal der Unsterblichen" as well as "Der letzte Tigerhai".
