Claudio Stassi

Claudio Stassi is a comic artist, illustrator, and comic teacher at Escola Joso in Barcelona. Throughout his career, he has drawn for the most important European publishers in the industry, collaborated with major animation companies, and taught at renowned comic and illustration schools. He considers himself a versatile artist who tries out different styles in each project, because every story needs its own unique voice that can convey strong emotions to the reader. Claudio presents his new albums from the Zack Edition:

A graphic novel about Spanish history. Niceto Alcalá-Zamora was president of the Second Spanish Republic from 1931 to 1936. On the day of the proclamation, Fox Movietone filmed the entire event. This footage and the notebook of a 10-year-old boy were hidden behind a cupboard in the mayor's house for decades until they were rediscovered in 2014.
