Jürgen Speh is a veteran of the German comic scene and caused a sensation with his sophisticated drawing style in the 1980s in the comic magazine "Menschenblut". He remained loyal to this magazine for a long time despite publishing albums. He later drew "Horst" for Schwarzer Turm and Panini. He is also the illustrator of the 3rd series of "Nick, Pionier des Weltalls". Gringo Comics has published "Kriegsfunnies" and "Eiszeit" and most recently "Der fabelhafte Doktor Breslau". He has also published in so many other magazines and books that he has probably lost track of them all. His perfection in all styles is impressive. He has recently self-published several comics, including "Doktor Wer" and "Bildergeschichten für die reife Jugend". He won his fourth ICOM Independent Award in 2022 with the self-published "The most dangerous Game".
