Anna Sommer

Anna Sommer, *1968 in Staffelbach (CH), lives and works as a freelance comic artist and illustrator in Zurich. Her illustrations and graphic novels appear in various publications and publishing houses, including Strapazin, Cahiers Dessinés and Actes Sud. In 2006, she was awarded the "Werkjahr" comics prize by the city of Zurich. In 2017, she received the Comicstipendium der Deutschschweizer Städte for "Das Unbekannte" and was a star guest at the BDFIL in Lausanne in 2017.
