Jan Reiser

Jan Reiser was born in Tegernsee in 1978 and has been drawing since childhood. He was born with a pencil and brush in his hand, under the guidance of his father, the painter Hans Reiser. Comics, cartoons and graphic narratives caught his interest at an early age. Jan Reiser studied communication design at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, where he honed his skills as an illustrator. "De Geschicht vom Brandner Kasper" was his debut comic, which was an immediate success and is now in its fifth edition. Since then he has published numerous other books with various publishers. Jan Reiser has been a member of the Munich comic club "Comicaze" for many years. He lives in Munich with his family.
