Ramar's real name is Ralf Marczinczik and he was born in 1966.
He lives, writes and draws as a freelance illustrator and art director in Detern, Eastern Friesland. He started his professional career as a layout artist in animated film (including series such as “Petzi”) and then worked as an art director and concept artist for games such as “Moorhuhn”, “Gothic”, “Risen”, “The Settlers”, “Sven Bomwollen” and many others. Since 2013, he has published his comics in magazines such as U-Comix, Comixene and as a collaborator on projects for various publishers, including Carlsen, Beltz, Splitter, Ullstein and Ravensburger.
He will present two new titles at the Erlangen Comic Salon 2024: "Digger" and "Geschichten rund um das Wunder von Bern".
