Aisha Franz

Aisha Franz was born in Fürth in 1984 and lives in Berlin. The daughter of Colombian-Chilean immigrants, she grew up near Regensburg and Kassel. She studied visual communication with Hendrik Dorgathen at the Kunsthochschule Kassel - specialising in comics and illustration. "Alien" was her first book publication with Reprodukt and at the same time her final project at the Kunsthochschule Kassel. Drawn stories and illustrations by Aisha Franz have been published by Rotopolpress, in the anthologies "KU(Ŝ)", "Orang", "Kuti Kuti" and "Strapazin". After "Brigitte und der Perlenhort" and "Shit Ist Real", her latest comic "Work-Life-Balance" was published by Reprodukt in March 2022. Aisha has been drawing the children's comic "Drei aus der Zukunft" for Die Zeit Leo since 2019, which will be published by Reprodukt in summer 2024.
