Elizabeth Pich

Elizabeth Pich is a German-American comic artist who lives and works in Saarbrücken. She grew up in the US before returning to Germany. She studied computer science at Saarland University and communication design at the Saar College of Fine Arts, where she completed her Master of Arts degree in 2015.

Pich became known primarily for her absurd comic series “Fungirl,” which has been published since 2015 and tells the chaotic adventures of a young woman searching for adulthood. Together with Jonathan Kunz, she published the webcomic “War and Peas” in 2020. Her works are characterized by humorous, often macabre stories and a distinctive drawing style. Pich is considered one of the most versatile and original voices in the contemporary comic scene.
