Jonas Fischer

Jonas, born in 1995 in Kaltenkirchen, Fischer works in Kiel on various independent projects, collaborations, and commissions. He arranges lines, strokes, letters, images, surfaces, and structures on pages, book covers, screens, and walls. Sometimes his work takes him to special places, such as the Republic of Moldova, the Amazon rainforest, Brunsbüttel on the Elbe, and most recently Riga. Jonas studied communication design, illustration, and graphic novels; typography and book design; and language and form at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts in Kiel.

Jaja Verlag published "Toxic" (co-authored by Amelia Fiske) in 2025 and a comic contribution to the anthology "AI—Comics on Artificial Intelligence" in 2026.
