Democracy guarantees every member of society the right to participate in all political processes. This goes hand in hand with the protection of fundamental and human rights. Yet these guarantees have been and continue to be repeatedly challenged and jeopardised worldwide – or are not granted in the first place. The exhibition presents political cartoons, comics and drawings from graphic novels by 30 international artists: Titus Ackermann, Ivica Astalos, Tobi Dahmen, Hamed Eshrat, Paul „Polyp“ Fitzgerald, Fufu Frauenwahl, Steffen Haas, Horst Haitzinger, Dieter Hanitzsch, Gunter Hansen, Rudi Hurzlmeier, Denis Kitchen, Reinhard Kleist, Ralf König, Isabel Kreitz, Mike Loos, Luise Mirdita, Jared Muralt, Gabriel Nemeth, Mana Neyestani, Uli Oesterle, Adrian Pourviseh, Peter Puck, Jan Reiser, Ingrid Sabisch, Chris Scheuer, Sabrina Schmatz, Simon Sieber, Timo Wuerz and Barbara Yelin.
